Chess club gets off to a slow but promising start

Bad weather probably deterred a few prospective players, and Collingwood's Adult Chess Club had a modest attendance, Tuesday night, for its inaugural meeting. Pearl Spring Masters chess competition underway

Adult chess club starts at Library, Oct. 26

A new chess club for players 18 or older will start at the Collingwood Public Library, October 26, from 6 p.m. It will every meet Tuesday evening at 6 p.m. from that date. There is no charge to join or to play. All levels of players are welcome.
