More accountability for the public sector proposed

So far, I have been unimpressed by the McGuinty government, but the proposed new legislation that expands accountability rules across the public sector strikes me as the best thing they've done to date (perhaps the ONLY good thing they've done to date).

Municipal governments are governed by similar rules, and I have always wondered why...

Referendum: 2010

I plan to bring a notice of motion to the table, Monday night, asking for a referendum question to be added to the 2010 ballot.

My motion will be to request that the 2010 ballot include the question, "Should Collingwood implement a ward system for future municipal elections?"
