Back home at last. Was in Mexico at our favourite city - our Sister City - Zihuatanejo, for two weeks. Same place: Casa Cruz del Mar, that we always stay in. We weren't able to go on vacation last year, so this was the first time Susan and I have had away, together, in the last two years. Two weeks doesn't seem long enough when you're down there, but it was all we could take (and more than we could afford, but it was worth it).
I thought about posting while I was there but sitting in a hot Internet café struggling with the Spanish-language keyboard isn't a great holiday experience. I've done it. Instead, I kept up-to-date using my HTC Dream phone and local wireless stations. That allowed me to get email and do a little browsing. I will put together a post on our trip, later. Remind me to tell you about the rain down there... and my tribulations with the phone.
Anyway, I'm off to a 9 a.m., Saturday budget meeting. Why Saturday? Why in late February? Because the budget process was poorly handled this year. But that's for yet another post after I've had a chance to get unpacked, get the laundry done and relax a bit. And play with my dog who really, really missed us while we were away. I'm sure she thought we had abandoned her - her previous owners moved out of town and left her tied to a tree. But she's back with us and happy to be here, as we are to have her with us. Our cats missed us too, and have been fussing and demanding attention since we returned.
More soon...
