GBAR has a different 'open-style' concept for their cat rooms. Cats can move about freely and interact with both each other and visitors. It's a great idea that helps socialize cats and remove that 'prisoner' trauma that they go through after pending too long in a cage. They are active, mobile and able to find a place to be alone as well. Means more care must be spent watching for disease, etc. But it's worth it to see how well mannered and cosialized they become!
