Hi,

Great stuff, I am enjoying reading all the H. Hudson information. Thank you.

You quote Chaucer on this page: http://www.ianchadwi...n/hudson_01.htm

"A little boat/No bigger than a man's thought."

I cannot find a reference to this line anywhere. Can you please tell me where in Chaucer it appears?

Thanks very much!

As I recall, it's from a dual-line translation of a selection Chaucer's Cantebury Tales (Middle English/Modern English). I have it at home, but might take me a little time to find the right story and line. Give me a little time to look for it. Something in my head says it's the Miller's Tale, but I'm not sure.
