Glorioso

Edit: I actually wrote this March 17So I got my tequila Glorioso yesterday. I'm thinking of cracking it open later tonight after I come back from climbing (in a gym). Of course I'll do a write-up on it, the question is where? My blog? The forum?--So it's later now, and I think I'll just post it here. A little experiment, see what happens. So, let's see. Aņejo, dark in hue, like JCRF, and quite woody. Initially it had a decent burn, but letting it stand for a while fixed that. Not much in the way of flavour; it lost most of the agave, unfortunately. Not quite as full bodied as JCRF. Not all that much to it, really. It's not _bad_, I mean, I'm not gonna pour this down the drain, but I think its main purpose in life will be to show the difference between woody liquor and woody tequila. Bid[0] on it for the bottle, perhaps, or if you simply must add this to your list of tequilas you've tried.[0] I think you can only get this on eBay.

Discoverability

I wonder how many of you are still looking to see if there are any new blogs or new entries. If you're at all like me, you have the tequila forum bookmarked (or if you're a bit more like me, your browser just autocompletes it for you after you type "ianc" in the URL bar) and you haven't quite made checking the blogs part of your daily rhythm yet. Maybe it'd help if there was some visual indication from the tequila forum that there were new blog entries to be read? Could just be a simple number in parentheses after "Blogs" of either all or just your favourite blogs (did you know you can mark a blog as "favourite"?) Of course, something that sounds so simple may actually be quite a bit of work. And perhaps it's the wrong approach altogether. Perhaps instead there should be a "portal" (yeah yeah, cringing as I write it) with "What's new in your subscribed fora and favourite blogs".Hmm, or I'll just work on making the blogs page part of my daily rhythm. New habits are easily learnt, right?

Weird, eh?

So today I got a notice from eBay that an item I'd been bidding on had been ended early by eBay because the seller's account had been suspended. My reaction was a bit like this:

Quote

*blink* *blink*I really wanted that item!!!*pause*How dare they!*pause*I guess I should be grateful, 'coz this person might've been ripping people off and eBay just protected me from a similar fate. But I really wanted that item!!! How dare they!Oh alright, fine, they did what they had to. No point in being angry at them, and if some mistake has been made, the item will be back again.
Interesting, innit? How my initial frustration with not being able to obtain the item got targetted at eBay instead of at the seller.
