After three years of enduring frequent, snide and insulting comments from our mayor about local bloggers (me included), our mayor has decided to join us. That's right - the mayor has a blog.

Is his imitation the sincerest form of flattery? I doubt it.

An impassioned presentation on the benefits of moving the downtown restaurant patios to the curbside, last night, failed to move me. I still think it's a bad idea and I haven't heard any comments from the restaurant owners to suggest anything said last night has relieved their concerns*...

I'm stupid. Or perhaps, if you want to split semantic hairs, my decisions are stupid. But I'm not at all sure how I can be separated from my decisions, intellectually speaking. Non cogito, ergo bardus - I don't think, therefore I'm stupid.

At least that's the opinion of Councillor Foley, expressed at council, Monday, and reiterated in an article in The Enterprise Bulletin...
